And so the journey begins...

I’ve never been one to put myself on display, actually I’ve spent the better part of 42 years trying to blend in, but now that I’m a business owner it’s time to woman up and allow the world to follow me on my body contouring journey.

Hello out there! My name is Sara, I live in Seattle, WA,  I’m originally from Canada, BC to be exact (and before you ask I don’t love one country more than the other, I love them equally like I do my two pugs). πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ❤️

I’m a Master (Medical) Esthetician, I specialize at the moment in lashes, needle free fillers, fat dissolve and body contouring. I decided to start this blog to show anyone who’s interested how body contouring works and what to expect.

I myself am at the heaviest I’ve ever been, I’m 5’7” and 212 lbs. Curse you pandemic!... and pizza!! πŸ•πŸ·

Normally I would treat a client once a week for 10-20 weeks, but I’m going to do a head to toe overhaul before my brother’s wedding this August! 😳

I plan to do treatments every week for three days in a row, it’s possible to do this on a client, but who has that kind of time?!

Every week I’ll check in with photos, measurements and updates. I promise I won’t lie to you, I have no intention of dieting or exercising during this journey, but I won’t rule out a burst of energy here and there if I’m feeling good about myself.

I won’t lie to you or sugar coat any of this, that’s not my style, I’ll give it to you straight and hopefully we’ll get through this together!

I’m pretty scared to post pictures of my body, but if it’s for science I can do it!! πŸ§ͺπŸ”¬πŸ₯Ό

I appreciate your thoughts, questions, wisdom and funny anecdotes! But please be gentle, this is my first time putting myself out there (I won’t even karaoke because of stage fright) and I don’t expect to win a Pulitzer for this blog. But I’m willing to take the chance so that others can see that there’s an alternative for people who don’t want surgery and really just don’t want to kill themselves at the gym. I understand you! I am you! I’m lazy AF!!

First treatment starts tomorrow, I’ll take pics and measurements, YIKES!!

Thanks for joining me on this journey, I can use all the help I can get!!

Sara

I caved, so sue me!!

I know I said that I wouldn't diet or exercise throughout this entire experiment, but it looks like Canada may actually open at the end of July and I need to be ready for my brother's wedding! I think that by now, 6 weeks in, I've proved that Ultrasonic Cavitation DOES  indeed work even if you don't want to starve or workout. But now it's time to show how much faster and better the results will be when you follow a healthy eating and exercise plan.  So now the plan for the next 2.5 months will be to follow a healthy eating plan (I'm going to follow a Mediterranean Diet) and an exercise plan. I will hit my spin bike @ home 3 days a week, 4 if I have a really slow Monday schedule.  When the pool opens i'll add that in too! I LOVE the pool!!!! I'll have a smoothie for breakfast, a salad and chicken or fish for lunch (or hummus and pita with protein), berries and nuts for snacks and a small dinner.  My therapist and I have been working on my alcohol consumpt...

I don't even know who I am anymore!

This week i've been working on my alcohol consumption with my therapist. As i've said before I drink about a bottle to two bottles a night on the weekend and always have a hangover on either wednesdays or both wednesday and thursday.  I'm not proud of it, but it is another of my coping mechanisms. I thought for sure that i'd be hungover this wednesday because my husband spent the night down in Lacey @ his mum's (he's been helping her out since his dad passed), but I used the tools that my therapist gave me and here I am, the entire weekend without a hangover! I don't really know if drinking less will help lose more fat, but I imagine it can't hurt! Some of my best binge eating happens when i'm either drunk or hungover.  I don't remember if I ever told you this, but I am naturally a lazy person. I will put off doing everything until the last moment! But more and more throughout this journey i've been finding myself wanting to be more active. I...

Does this fat make my butt look big?

Here we are at the end of week 4! It's actually been a good week, the sun has been out, I didn't overeat and I don't have a hangover!  I'm killing at life right now!! Looks like I've lost nothing on my upper arms, damn you bingo wings!!!! .5" on my lower arm, .5" on my bust, 1.5" on my chest, .5" on my waist, 1.5" on my hips, .5" on my midway. Hilariously it looks like I've gained on my thighs! And once again I've lost nothing on my knees or my calves. So not bad considering I had super greasy pizza last night, and a double cheeseburger and fries today!! I have to say that I am actually starting to WANT to workout! Seeing and feeling my body change has made me want to take care of it more, but I promised that I wouldn't to prove that you don't have to workout or diet for this to work, so I'll remain vigilant! But if they open my community pool up again all bets are off!!! What I do find funny is how hard it is for ...
